    How to preload YouTube videos on an Android phone such as the Galaxy S2, S3

    If you are using the latest version of the operating system Android Ice Cream Sandwich or as Jelly Bean, you can download YouTube videos or preload. You can see them on slow network provided you have a network signal. It is not useful for offline viewing, but it is best if you want to watch videos without buffering problems.

    YouTube introduces prefetching YouTube videos on an Android phone. Unfortunately, this feature does not work on Android tablets like the Samsung Tab 7 or Nexus 2, etc.

    How to preload the YouTube video on Android phone
    1. Make sure you are using the latest Android OS 4.0. This includes the Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean
    2. YouTube app updated to the latest version. Open Play Google’s store on your phone and search for YouTube, it will display the update option if a new version is available.
    3. Go to the YouTube app and select the video you want to download. Click the icon to watch later in the drive. See below. It will be added to your watch later queue. Add a video you want to queue.

    4. In YouTube, Go to Settings> Preload Preload> Check the option to watch it later

    5. The videos will be posted on your Android phone like the Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, etc. when your phone is charging and WiFi available. Be sure to check that you have unlimited WiFi plan.

    6. You will see a green arrow icon next to the video after video recovered.

    You can also subscribe to preload the YouTube video in the same way. Video preloading as Olympic video is a great way to follow the action without problems buffers etc.
