If you use hotmail for email, or just trying outlook.com new e-mail account, you can configure it to send and receive email on your android phone easily. It works on any Android device with the Nexus with Jelly Bean & 7 to live.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com account.
Hotmail e-mail service was first popular. Micorsoft outlook.com introduced recently. If you convert your account to outlook.com hotmail.com or live.com or hotmail.com use, you can follow the below methods set up email on your Android device
Method 1
. How to configure hotmail or outlook.com on any android phone as a Nexus 7
Hotmail android apps available from Google Play Store. It works only for Android devices running Android 2.1. It works on Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean Android OS.
Install Hotmail android application and open to enter your e-mail address, password. Make sure you enter your full email or@outlook.com or@live.com including@hotmail.com. Had to take the e-mail. It also encourages new email immediately. It can also synchronize your hotmail contacts, calendar with your Android device. Method 2: How to install hotmail outlook.com or on any Android phone / tablet using android Email app with Exchange
If you do not want an application on top of hotmail, you can only use the default email app thats found in the application on your Android device.

b. Press the exchange option. Hotmail & Outlook.com not support IMAP. POP3 usually not recommeded. You have more control if you use the Option Exchange. You can see “Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync” is based on the Android OS you are using. Select this option if you see this.
c. Enter your full email address for the domain user name as shown in the picture. Enter m.hotmail.com to server. Keep all other default settings as shown on the screen. Must be connected to the server and get your email now.
thats it. E-mail must synchronize with your Android device.
Method 3: How to install hotmail or outlook.com on every Android phone / tablet using android application with POP3 Email
you should use method # 2 above to the Exchange Option. If you want to use the POP3 option for whatever reason, you can do that too.
B. Enter the e-mail or Hotmail outlook.com & password. Press “Manual Setup” and select POP3.
C. Enter the POP3 incoming server settings as shown in the figure below. Enter your full address for a user name, enter pop3.live.com to pop3 server, select SSL or SSL / TLS and port number of the server 995.
d . Enter outgoing SMTP server settings as shown in the figure below. Enter smtp.live.com to the smtp server, select STARTTLS or TLS security type, enter the port number 587.
This must be it. You can send and receive e-mail using POP3 and SMTP

4. Using the Web Browser
If you just want to check email from time to time or you do not want to install on your Android, you can just go to help you or outlook.com hotmail.com.
