So, yes this is a good finished product. So what? It is not unique. This is true, but it is a plug in the iPod You then use the mini-jack on the PocketDock instead of one that is in your iPod / iPhone, and get ready.
You see, it is the dirty little secret that the audio jack of your iPod or iPhone does not have nearly the volume or strength of the connection has minidock. This is why audio device that has a dock connector so much better than those who have a line-in jack. This is what basically PocketDock is a laptop docking station
J” I plugged it into my iPhone and then connected to my receiver using a mini-jack cable. I had my volume on the iPhone and the device is the way to the car because it’s necessary if you just use a mini-jack on the iPhone directly. I would refuse. I almost had a heart attack when the voice came blasting my speakers. It was night and day. It’s little things like an amplifier for your audio system. The difference is dramatic. And now I’m used to it, I can not do without. It also has a mini USB port allows you to charge your iPhone while using PocketDock. However, the cable is not supplied with the PocketDock. This is a separate purchase if you do not already have a mini USB cable ..One question I have is that the volume control on the iPod / iPhone does not work when plugged in. Volume PocketDock music completely controlled by the camera you iPhone / iPod is connected. If you want to plug your headphones into the iPod PocketDock not directly, you will not have a volume control and what you hear is very high. I worked around this problem by using an extension cable earphones with volume control button / wheel. It works like a charm. However, you can usually get a lot of volume just by using your headphones without PocketDock.
If you want to listen to your iPod / iPhone to your car stereo or boombox dock lines without PocketDock Out Mini USB is doing the trick. :7/10
