    Firefox uses too much memory (RAM) - How to fix

    This is a very common issue and I think most of the Firefox users have experienced this problem. In this issue Your Mozilla Firefox browser uses much more memory than it really use.     You must review and monitor memory usage through particular tools. On Windows, You can do this by Performance tab of the “Windows Task Manager displays memory usage”.

    You can update or download the latest version of Firefox.

    You must update the latest plugins because it displays special types of content and it can consume large amounts of memory, especially older versions.

    Your computer's registry may be full of old information which is slowing your computer down. When you remove programs from your computer, these old programs leave behind little pieces of code and data. This information builds up over time and slows down your computer a lot. So remove these old registry files by using some registry cleaner tool.
