How to fix losing connection to wifi on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or 800

    You

announced Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. This is a tablet that you need if you are using the S Pen much. A feature of this tablet is, it has a setting to turn off Wi-Fi when the screen turns off.

If you use Facebook or sync gmail etc e-mail and you want to get automatic updates, you do not want WiFi turned off when near a WiFi connection if you want to save a little battery.

How to connect to a WiFi tablet
    1. On your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (also 800), go to the Home screen by pressing the Home button

    2. Go to Applications> Settings> WiFi> Advanced Settings Tap

    3. Continue to press WiFi during sleep. Select Never from the context menu that you always get
    – default – if you turn off WiFi tablet screen off
    Never – nevermore WiFi off

If you are still having trouble getting WiFi working properly, you can try to restart the tablet. Make sure you are within range of a WiFi connection.

I had this WiFi problem for over a year now. I read your blog post and tried it on my mobile. To my surprise, it worked. Now I don't get breaking WiFi connections anymore.
